BABA NI IBADAN! as our mom calls you ?
( smiles). We still remember vividly our encounter with you some years back in Ogbomosho while we were in school. You invited us home and warmly received us at your residence. You were so caring and lovely. We also remembered your fatherly advice of being good behavior, the jokes, stories you told us, while you also blessed us.
Then our last visit (even though a sad one) on the 19th of may, 2024 after the burial of our mother “ Mrs Rebecca Gbemisola Olaniyan (nee OLADIRAN). You were calm, and still received us & your great grandson with warmth. We cherished the memorable pictures we took with you on that day.
We were hoping you’d stay long years with us as a consolation for our mom, only to hear the sudden news of your departure.
Baba we all love you, but God loves you most, we will surely miss you, miss your voice.
Continue to rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.
