Today, I honor the memory of my father, a man whose gentle spirit touched every life he encountered. He was more than a father to me – he was a guide, a mentor, and a reflection of kindness and peace. His calm nature was a constant in our lives, always bringing a sense of comfort and reassurance.
One of the greatest gifts my father gave me was allowing me to choose the way of the Lord. Through his life, he showed me what it means to walk in faith, to love without condition, and to live a life grounded in truth. His example showed me the power of humility, forgiveness, and the beauty of having a heart filled with grace.
I learned from him how to be hardworking and resilient and how to strive for excellence in everything I do.
In his final moments, I was blessed to be with him, to share those precious last breaths of life. Thank you, Dad, for spending your final moments with me—a gift I will forever cherish. In that sacred time, I felt the full depth of his love, a love that will never fade, even in his absence.
Though he may no longer be with us physically, the legacy of his love and wisdom will continue to guide me. His kindness lives on in the way I treat others, and his peaceful presence remains in the still moments of life when I find strength in faith, just as he taught me.
I miss him deeply, but I find comfort in knowing he is now at peace with the Lord, watching over me with the same love and care that he always gave.
Thinking back, I am amazed about how he cared for us. He noticed and cherished every little detail of our lives, silently praying for us and cheering us on. He was grateful for his blessings and never took anyone’s kindness for granted.
I am, without a doubt, my father’s daughter. His values, his love, and his faith are woven into the very fabric of who I am. I will carry his memory with me always, and I will continue to walk the path he showed me, with the same grace and strength he exemplified.
Thank you, Baba mi, for your endless love, for showing me the path of righteousness, and for being a light in my life. I will carry your memory with me always.
