I know Baba some years before my wedding in 1995 With my wife – MRS REBECCA GBEMISOLA OLANIYAN.
Baba had such an amiable aura off love that surrounded him up to his last moments on earth.
It’s on record that we never had any quarrel even for a minute throughout the period that I know him.
Baba, you’re so caring that when there some security challenges here in the North and especially in Abuja, you were always amongst the first people to call asking about our safety.
I have known you to be loving, calm, focused, resolute and decisive in actions. These were special gifts from God that I cherished about you.
These enviable gifts became more prominent after the untimely death of my Wife on the 3rd of May 2024. You were always calling me and your Grand Children everyday, consoling, praying, advising and showing us fatherly love. This continued till the time you travelled to USA.
So it was so shocking when we all received the news of your transition to glory to be with our Lord Jesus on the 20th July, 2024.
This was exactly seventy-seven (77) days after the sudden departure of my Wife. I am still grief-stricken and in a mourning mood.
But, however, you deserved a befitting burial and my Wife will be happy wherever she is knowing fully well that she’ll be well represented.
